Introduction

How to find places with a good sound environment, corresponding to the activity you wish to do?

I created this project when I was studying in Shanghai. It's the 9th noisiest city of the world and it's something that you feel when living there.

So I decided to create a crowd-sourced platform that let users search for and provide feedback on the sound quality of different location across the city.

Preferences

The user defines what type of ambiance he's looking for, to get a better curated list of places.

HOME

To make entry in the app super straightforward, the homepage presents recommended locations based on interest, vicinity and the past places the user visited and enjoyed.

Detail of the Places

I designed this open card, to give all the information a user needs to know. From the description and decibel level to the user comments and facilities, each section is design to make research easy.

Search

I wanted to facilitate the search of a place with this quick form. The user can view search result via a list view, or directly on the map.

SUGGEST A PLACE

I wanted the user to participates, in order to make him realize the sound environment he lives in. So the first thing that is asked when you want to suggest a place is to record the sound decibel.
